Spring Break – Don’t let free time lead to trouble time

Spring Break! What a wonderful thought for thousands of Oregon students.

Parents have a different viewpoint, however. That’s because research shows that risky behavior increases during the break.

That’s why Oregon Partnership and the CARSA coalition have put together a list of youth recommended – and parent approved –  fun things to do over Spring Break.

You’ll find a long list of fun activities that your teen can choose from at http://www.orpartnership.org/web/Spring-Break.asp

Talk with your kids about their plans and make sure they are active and busy during Spring Break. Because your input influences the decisions they make.

Remember, when they’re busy, they’re less likely to get involved with risky behavior such as using alcohol or other drugs.

Here’s to a great Spring Break for all.

wow you should let your child make mistakes in their life because if they don’t then when they move out they are going to do it because they were sheltered like hell back when they lived with their parents
